Sharing is caring!
This week's ICT tool is Seesaw, I tool that basically has it all. It's an online portfolio that supports many kinds of media and allows teachers to keep track of how their pupils are performing.
Students can sign in using a QR-code or a Google account. Subsequently they can access their own portfolio, where they can show what they've learnt through images, videos, links, and journals.
The interesting part about Seesaw is that it gives students an audience. Their teachers, peers, and even parents can comment on their process and see how they are doing. Apart from that, Seesaw encourages deeper understanding and learning. It allows students for example to record their own explanation of a topic while writing on their screen or they can blog about their experience.
The free version has the features mentioned above. If you want more features, you can upgrade your account.
