Sharing is caring!
Yesterday, I was at a free inspiration day for ICT in Education. I taught three workshops about PowerPoint Mix. Despite the fact that PowerPoint Mix is not completely free (you'll need to have PowerPoint), I decided to blog about it anyway, since many schools already have Office365.
Mix is a plug-in for PowerPoint that allows you to create videos easily. While you're clicking through your slides, you can add audio to the PowerPoints, just by speaking. Apart from that, you can also quickly get out of the recording, and film something else than your slides. For example an online learning environment, or a webpage. This video will immediately be added to your PowerPoint presentation.
Last but not least, Mix also allows you to add questions, polls, and exercises to the PowerPoint. Students can watch and do this at home, and the teacher is provided with a great amount of analytics. In short, it enables you to create full interactive lessons, in a very simple way!
- Internet connection
- (Build in) microphone
- Microsoft account
- Very easy to use
- Great analytics
- Complete, interactive lessons
- Requires you to have bought PowerPoint 2016
