Canva is an online graphic design tool that can be used to create multimedia designs such as posters and infographics.
Most suitable for A2 - C2 level
Creating an account is free. You can set up a team of designers if you want to work on several designs together. You can create and download as many designs as you want, but some elements/images are only for a paid plan.

Example of an assignment using Canva:
Create an infographic in Canva about a debateable topic that appeals to you. Try to make your infographic as convincing as possible!

  • Privacy: Canva requires you to set up an account. Students have the right to refuse this.
  • Easy to use: Canva is a very structured and easy tool to use.
  • Quality: Canva is a high-quality tool.
  • Options without paying: You can create as many designs as you want, but some images/elements are only for a paid plan.
